The technological component of IDD Therapy® treatment began with the advent of non-surgical decompression, which was developed in 1989. Since that time, technology and computer software have continuously evolved to new levels, and North American Medical has determined to grow with it. Their flagship device model, known today as the Accu-SPINA™ system, has unique programming features that allow a much smoother and more precise treatment delivery. The Accu-SPINA™ is also capable of highly unique treatment modalities not possible on conventional decompression machines, such as the Oscillation feature.

The Accu-SPINA™ system is also designed to maximize IDD Therapy® protocol benefits with built-in Oswestry tracking, and HIPAA compliant study data extraction capabilities. The study data extraction programming allows participating clinics to compress hours of clinical data collating into a two minute CD-ROM process at the Accu-SPINA™ workstation. Doctors can submit this confidential raw data to North American Medical headquarters where their statistical department will run it through proprietary data assessment programs. NAM can then provide participating clinics with a personalized efficacy analysis by diagnosis of how IDD Therapy® protocols are performing for their specific patient base.

Commercial Component

The final component of IDD Therapy® treatment is the commercial element.
